President of Armenia Vahagn Khach- aturyan has received TUMO Founder and philanthropist Sam Simonian and presented him with one of the coun- try’s highest state decorations. Sam Simonian was awarded the First Class Order “For Services to the Homeland” on the occasion of Arme- nia’s Republic Day in recognition of his significant contribution to the de- velopment of education, science, cul- ture, and the economy, as well as his longstanding efforts to preserve Arme- nian identity and heritage. President Khachaturyan congratu- lated Simonian on the distinguished award, highly commending his many years of dedicated service to the Arme- nian people. The President wished him good health, continued success, and many more years of productive activ- ity.
